Rosemund and Bronwyn 2025

We enjoy the service aspects of the SCA, especially when we can connect with people. Sitting hospitality at Pennsic or even registration is enjoyable because of the ability to make those connections. Being around people and welcoming people, sharing our experience, and teaching people is rewarding and inspiring. Despite being in the SCA for more than three decades, we continue to find new things to learn and inspiration in unexpected places. We also enjoy cooking. Rosemund enjoys illumination and Bronwyn focuses on fiber arts.

Our Vision:

We have both been in the SCA for some time and have done this role in the past. We would like to bring our experience forward, bring back some older traditions, but incorporate the inclusivity and joy that the SCA has today. We hope to include “older” members of the Barony by reaching out and having our artisans bring their skills back to teach and guide our newer members.

Additionally, because we are not both living in the same household, we feel that will give us more ability to “divide and conquer” (do more things in the same amount of time since we have two households that will be supporting us through this). We look forward to working with the officers to promote and support what they do as well. Mostly, we’d like to make sure people are having fun and feeling included.
